English mulled wine
Ingredients :
1 lemon
50 cl of Ruby red port
2 tablespoons of cane sugar
1 pinch of nutmeg
25 cl of very lightly salted spring water
Preparation :
Put the sugar in a saucepan, pour in the water and lemon juice.
Boil the water.
Add the port and a little grated nutmeg.
Heat over low heat without bringing to a boil.
Serve in glasses.
Decorate with a lemon peel or an orange wedge
