An explosion of dense primary notes of red fruit and floral scents, with a very frank and enveloping attack. The palate is supple and silky with a polished, tight, velvety tannic body. The tannic density and acidity dissolve surprisingly well into the smooth envelope. Smooth, aromatic persistence. A very tactile vintage. Great ageing potential.
