  • 10 g dry yeast
  • 250 g fresh spinach
  • 300 ml water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the spinach in a pot with a little water for a few minutes. Drain well, press to remove excess water, and blend into a puree.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the spinach puree, water, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.
  5. Divide the dough into equal parts and shape them into buns. Place them on a baking tray.
  6. Let the buns rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Brush the buns with beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
