Poké Bolw Salmon Avocado
Ingredients
For the bowl:
200 g sushi rice (or round rice)
200 g fresh salmon (sushi quality)
1 lawyer
1/2 cucumber
1 small carrot
50 g soy sprouts
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Pickled ginger (gari) for serving
For the salmon marinade:
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon of lime juice
1 small amount of wasabi (to taste)
Preparation :
1. Prepare the rice:
Rinse the sushi rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
Cook the rice according to package directions. Once cooked, add 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar to the hot rice and mix. Let cool to room temperature.
2. Prepare the salmon:
Cut the salmon into small cubes.
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, grated ginger, lime juice and wasabi.
Add the salmon cubes to the marinade and let sit in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes.
3. Prepare the vegetables:
Peel and grate the carrot.
Cut the avocado into slices.
Thinly slice the cucumber.
Rinse the bean sprouts and let them drain.
4. Assemble the Poké Bowl:
Spread the sushi rice at the bottom of the bowls.
Arrange the marinated salmon in the center.
Add the avocado slices, cucumber, bean sprouts, and grated carrot around the salmon.
Add a small amount of pickled ginger.
Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top.
5. Serve:
Serve immediately, with a little wasabi on the side for those who like it spicy.
You can also add a drizzle of soy sauce or sesame oil to adjust the seasoning.
