Japanese Whale Meat Burger
Ingredients (for 2 people):
For the patties:
- 300 g whale meat
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- Pepper to taste
For the burgers:
- 2 brioche hamburger buns
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 2 thick tomato slices
- 2 red onion slices
- 2 tablespoons miso mayonnaise (or regular mayonnaise mixed with 1 teaspoon white miso)
- 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce (optional)
Side:
- Homemade fries or Japanese coleslaw (sesame coleslaw)
