Ingredients:

  • 1 cup yellow or red lentils (moong dal or toor dal)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1-2 green chilies (optional, to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the Lentils: Start by rinsing the lentils under cold water until the water runs clear.
